Entry closing date is Monday October 12, 2020 at 18.00 at Finnish time
or as soon as 100 cats are entered, whichever is sooner. No cancellations allowed – if you enter the cat must be paid. It is possible to change or update cats information till entry closing date.

Sherwood Manx Club is not responsible for misdirected or lost entries. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to ensure receipt of entry by the Entry Clerk prior to the closing of the show. Entry Clerk will confirm your entry in 3 days, if you don’t hear anything about Entry Clerk, please, contact Entry Clerk. Please, enter your cat in time to avoid any problems.

Fees are inluding all payments. First Entry also includes catalog. Remember that according the CFA Show Rules, every entered cat must be paid within 10 days of confirmation or before the show, depending which one is earlier. Limited number of double cage or grooming spaces.

* NOTE about Payment at the door: Exhibitors who are from countries where Euro is not used as a local currency (eg Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Russia, UK, USA) may pay their entry fees at check in at show hall without any additional fees but bank transfers are preferred.

Entry fees are paid into Sherwood Manx Club bank account after you receive confirmation from Entry Clerk. Fees, payment details and account number will be included in the confirmation.

Check in: 9.15-9.45 Kittens/Household Pets, 9.45-10.30 Championship/Premiership.
Judging hours: 10.00-17.00.
Open for public: Private event. Not open for visitors. Only exhibitors and show staff allowed to show hall.

Corona pandemic effects to normal CFA show routines. Goal is to limit crowds in show hall, therefore check in for Kittens and Household Pets is first and they will be judged first in the morning in both rings. Kitten/HHP exhibitors are allowed to leave show hall when both finals are ready. Due SSP rings Championship and Premiership will be present at the same time in afternoon. More detailed information will be sent to exhibitors couple days before the show by email.

There are no specific show hotel this time! Closest city is Tampere (20 minutes drive to show hall) and there are many pet friendly hotels available. Book your rooms directly from hotel’s own booking site or use www.booking.com or www.hotels.com .

This is a non-vetted show, but vaccinations will be checked at check in, so bring your up-to-date vaccination records with you. No kittens under 4 months of age will be allowed in the show hall. Proof of age must be presented upon the request of the show manager. It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall are inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formely known as feline distempter or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, calici viruses and rabies. It is strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All claws of all entries must be clipped prior to benching.

Under current CFA show rules, show management reserves the right to have any cat showing signs of illness, disease or parasites removed from the show hall, in order to protect other cats in the show.  De-clawed cats are not eligible for entry. All household pet entries over 8 months of age must be spayed or neutered.

Please note that according the Finnish animal protection law, cat must have litter box and water bowl all the time in cage. Official inspection veterinarian might be doing check at show hall and veterinarian has the right to remove the cat from the show hall if law is not followed.

Finland is having the same importing regulations as rest of the Europe. Check current importing regulations from Finnish Food Authority https://www.ruokavirasto.fi/en/companies/import-and-export/eu-countries-norway-and-switzerland/animals/ . It is owners responsebility to check all importing regulations and keep cats recoreds updated.

COVID-19 Pandemic
Due the COVID-19 pandemic Finnish Goverment has set up travel restrictions. Check if you are eligible to enter Finland. Also COVID-19 rules to organize event with more than 50 people apply and club must follow them. Follow instructions at the show hall. One of the Governmental rules require that club must keep records of people present at show hall. Therefore everyone must give their names and contact information to club if Finnish Health Department officiers needs to track persons present in show. Note that according Finnish law you are not allowed to enter show hall if you are having any kind of symptoms of sickness. Club or CFA is not responsibility if anyone turns out later to be Corona positive and you are affected.

Benching request are respected. Only one benching request is allowed and persons with request are benched in same bay.

Club is only offering a table space and you bring your own cage. You cage must fit 65cm x 65cm space, otherwise you need to pay double cage space fee. Show management will check spaces during the show and if too big cages, extra fee will be charged and it is not quarenteed that there is extra space available at show hall. No more than one cat or two kittens may be benched in a single cage. No club provided cages available.

Due COVID-19 pandemic bring your own cat litter and take the litter back to your home when leaving the show hall. It is not allowed to put cat litter in trash bins at show hall.

Only limited number of seats at show hall. For your comfort, we recommend bringing your own chair with you.

Free parking at Ylöjärvi liikekeskus during Sunday.

There will be coffee and small snacks with limited availability at show hall. There are shops and restaurants close by within walking distance. Club will sent info-letter closer to the show to all exhibitors.

All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), Agility (if offered), Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards available during the CFA show season 2020-2021.
